First act: signed at nineteen, fifteen years on the road with her sister, opening for Coldplay and Elton John, writing the song that became the sound of an entire generation. Second act, the one that got me: a beauty line she started while trying to conceive, a tarot deck she drew by hand and published, a New York Times feature, a memoir, and a daughter she had at forty-four with donor eggs and a husband she called in by writing him down on a list.

Cat Pierce is a musician, artist, and founder living her second act out loud. She is one half of the sister duo The Pierces, the band that signed a major label deal in their teens, toured the world for fifteen years opening for Coldplay and Elton John, and wrote “Secret,” the theme song of Pretty Little Liars. She went on to build an entirely different life as a hand-drawn tarot artist, the founder of the clean beauty line Omen, and one of the most watched voices on Instagram for women in their forties. She self-published The Wandering Star tarot deck through a Kickstarter that became a Hay House deal, was recently profiled by The New York Times, is writing a memoir, and is a mother to a daughter she had at forty-four.
